My Year in Photos

What a wonderful start to my year as Miss Empire Star's Outstanding Teen! I was honored to be crowned by Miss New York's Outstanding Teen 2013, Krysta Prehoda, at her homecoming celebration on October 20, 2013. Thank you to Mrs. Manuel for capturing this moment!

With my good friends, Shannon and Emily, at the Miss New York's Outstanding Teen Homecoming Celebration on October 20, 2013! Thank you to Mrs. Ryan for the photo!

With Haley (Miss Empire Rose Outstanding Teen), Krysta (Miss New York's Outstanding Teen), and Mikayla (Miss Capital Region's Outstanding Teen). I can't wait to share my year with these ladies!

With my Empire Star/Empire Rose family!

With one of my long-time friends, Emily! Emily is Miss Fulton County's Outstanding Teen 2013.

I love my girls! I am so blessed to have them in my life!

If you know us, you know that we can never resist a silly picture!

With the amazing Linda Monte, the director of the Miss New York's Outstanding Teen Pageant. She really is Superwoman!

With Haley, Miss Empire Rose's Outstanding Teen at Miss America's Homecoming. Love her!

I got to pose on the "Red Carpet" at Nina's Homecoming Celebration!

What a pleasure it was to speak with Leah, Miss America's Outstanding Teen. She is such a talented, smart, and kind person!

I was so grateful for the opportunity to model in the Southampton High School National Honor Society's Annual Fashion Show! The proceeds of the show went towards senior scholarships.

In December, I teamed up with my chorus teacher, Mr. T, to play in the Southampton High School's annual Varsity Club Badminton Tournament!

We "pity the fool"! Our shirts featured a famous quote from the TV show, "The A-Team".

Excited and ready for my first official Southampton Youth Court Trial. I served on the jury!

I was honored to be selected to sing in the Hamptons Music Educator's Association (HMEA) Concert Choir in January. The choir was composed of the best singers in the Hamptons. I had so much fun!

My mom and I grabbed a bite to eat at the Olympic Flame Diner before the Miss New York City, Metropolitan, and Cosmopolitan Pageant... yummy! If you're in the Lincoln Center area and looking for a nice place to eat, this is the place!

I didn't expect to run into my long-time friend, Lauren, at the show. What a lovely surprise it was! Love you, Lauren, and it was so nice to catch up with you and your sweet momma!

As always, I love being able to catch up with Acacia Courtney! Acacia gave up her title as Miss New York City yesterday. She has left some BIG shoes to fill!

We met the newest member of the Miss New York's Outstanding Teen Class of 2014 yesterday. I'm so excited to welcome you to the sisterhood, Dominique!

Who wouldn't enjoy the chance to catch up with Amanda, Miss New York?! Not only is she talented beyond belief, but she is über sweet. Thanks for the picture, Amanda!

I got to catch up with my close friends, Katie and Claudette, before the show!

Hailey and I watched the rehearsals for the Empire Triple Crown Pageant together.

Us teens with Amanda Mason, Miss New York!

Singing, "Brave" by Idina Menzel was definitely a highlight of the Empire Triple Crown Pageant!

Being a Youth Advocate is what I love to do! I was honored to attend the American Heart Association State Lobby Day in March!

My dad attended his first Lobby Day! I couldn't thank him enough for taking off work to drive me up to Albany.

I always get a picture with the Lobby Day sign. It's kinda a tradition by now.

I was so happy to have the chance to speak about my platform at Assemblywoman Solages' Women of Distinction Luncheon in March!

I absolutely love this picture my mom and I took at the luncheon!

A quick selfie never hurt anyone!

With Assemblywoman Solages after the luncheon. I couldn't thank her enough for the opportunity to speak about Heart U to over 200 people.
